Still life with forks from a silver table set that belonged to my mother. A New Year's resolution to once and for all organize all of my digital negatives has been enacted in the past few weeks. I am discovering images that I forgot about, like this one, or others that I thought were lost. With real negatives in our film days, they could be put in sleeves and notebooks and were discernable simply by flipping pages. I have been guilty in the past three to four years of putting folders of images inside a larger folder titled "unfinished work." This has resulted in chaos for an otherwise neat freak. I have been trying to photoshop, edit, delete, rename, or organize this dumping ground a few files a night-currently in 2012. My new goal-finish photoshopping everything completely after a shoot, throw out the crap, and appropriately label and file what is saved by category.
