Managed to carry on a conversation with a friend, deal with the dog, who would rather have not stopped for each exposure, and gather some images before the sun became too present on Saturday. It would have been nice to have had enough snow to snowshoe and fully climb down into the Sturgeon River Gorge, but icy conditions resulted in safety coming first. Sunday was not suitable at all for making images. The videography project, Winter River II, will be many weekends in the making across the next months, due to the unpredictability of good light on days I can get in the field. Like life in general, you take what life presents as it happens. Whenever I get tangled up in thoughts that focus on how things "should" be different than what they are, it deters from living with acceptance. The coming weekend appears to promise better light.."
Trust only movement. Life happens at the level of events, not of words. Trust movement. ~Alfred Adler
