Been down with a chest cold and a case of conjunctivitis (pink eye) for a couple of weeks, but I need to cut wood tomorrow with my friends, Tom and Sharon, a 1.5 hour drive East to rural Trout Creek in Houghton County. Benny and I may end up going back that way with another friend and her dog on Sunday to photograph at the Middle Branch of the Ontonagon River. Have not been behind the lens, other than for family snaps during the holidays, for many weeks. The new Northern Lites Race snowshoes came two days ago. They are exceptionally small and light-perfect for moving quickly with the camera equipment on packed trails.
