This was my first stop on the way to the Keweenaw on Saturday morning. Unintended, but as I passed this stretch of beach, the sun was beginning to rise and the light was perfect. One of those moments when you can shoot anything and it will honor your vision, due to the splendid and subdued lighting. With a ten stop neutral density filter and cable release, this exposure was four minutes in duration. Plenty of time to stand in a brisk wind and get a cold ass. The rest of the day was pure magic.
