The end of a long and busy week. Surprise birthday party for a friend tomorrow, during which time I am to create a videography project for YouTube publication, followed by a daytrip to the Keweeenaw Peninsula for continued architectural (mining ruins) photography on Sunday, and cutting firewood with my friend Tom on the Monday MLK holiday. As winter started in earnest during November, I have used more wood than anticipated and ended up buying an additional five logger cords (15 face or firewood cords). Some good news this week to hear my youngest was accepted at the University of Michigan, as well as Michigan State. If she chooses U of M, her older brother, who is a Ph.D. researcher there in the Medical School, can show her the ropes and keep an eye on her.
